DOREEN GOLDING
We would like to send our sincerest condolences to our Patron, Doreen Golding (The Pearly Queen of Old Kent Road), on the sad loss of her devoted husband, Larry Golding (The Pearly King of Old Kent Road), who was also one of our patrons. Larry sadly passed away, following a long illness, on Thursday, 14th July. Larry and Doreen have been great supporters of the Dream Factory, since we began in 2008.
Larry will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
BIKE RIDE
The local Sikhs of Ilford and East London had a bike ride including children and adults. They raised £700 for The Dream Factory.

Avril went to the Temple in East Ham to collect the cheque,make a speech and say thank you on behalf of The Dream Factory.
QUIZ NIGHT
Sue Olatero (friend of Avril and member of the David Lloyd) organised a quiz night at the David Lloyd. 102 people attended and we raised an amazing £1500!

J COSS SCHOOL
The Dream Factory was recently chosen by the children of J Coss School, as their Charity of the Year, 2011. J Coss School is a brand new secondary school, which has recently opened in Barnet, North London. We will be meeting with the children to help them organise various fund raising events.
HASLER
Haslers, Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers, have chosen us for the second year running as their Charity of the Year.
MAYOR OF REBDRIDGE
The Mayor of Redbridge has just raised a total of £30,000, following the various events held on our behalf as one of their chosen charities for 2010/2011.
CLINTON CARDS
We are extremely grateful and delighted to report that Clinton Cards recently increased the number of shops selling cards whereby a proportion of the sale is donated to our charity from 46 shops to 98.
THE VAULT
To date, we have granted 111 dreams, and recently held a celebratory night for our regular volunteers as a thank you. We would like to express our sincere thanks to The Vault, at Woodford Green, for hosting a fabulous evening.
MATHEW RUTLAND
A huge, huge THANK YOU to Matthew Rutland, a previous event guest, who very generously on his 40th birthday, set up a donation page for all his friends and birthday party guests to give to The Dream Factory, raising an amazing £2,500.
