For over 30 years the Basildon and District Camping Group has been organising summer activity camps for young people (aged 11-18 years old) from local Boys Brigade and Girls Associations/Brigades. They write:
“The Group has a long tradition of fundraising for a different charity each year and likes to be able to fundraise for local charities when they can, especially those working with young people. This year we’re very happy to be fundraising for The Dream Factory; a cause close the heart of a couple of our longstanding volunteers as their nephew, Archie, had his dream fulfilled with the charity. We can’t wait to get stuck in to some fundraising challenges (like dessert auctions – yum!) and also take this opportunity to share the good work of The Dream Factory with our campers (as well as their parents and carers back home).”
