The Dream Factory received an urgent referral for a young girl from a Young Lives versus Cancer social worker based at The Royal Marsden Hospital which we turned around in two weeks
The dream was for a 14 year old girl who really wanted to visit Disneyland Paris with her family. The young girl had just relapsed after being diagnosed with a high grade glioma (Brain Tumour). She had a scan which had shown tumour growth, and was due to be undergoing high intensity radiotherapy at the end of April.
The Dream Factory were able to arrange this trip, enabling the whole family to have a really special trip and create memories that they will be able to cherish forever.
Due to publicity restrictions the identity of the child will need to remain confidential.
