18 year old Emily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in December 2014. She had chemotherapy and a titanium fixture in her femur.
In addition, in October 2018, Emily was diagnosed with metastatic osteosarcoma of the lung. She required surgery to remove her right lung and has had six cycles of chemotherapy.
