Jack is twenty-three and his dream was for a entertainment bundle including a PS5 and a 65 inch TV.
Here is Jack’s story:
Hi my name is Jack Gooding. I am a twenty-three year old guy currently battling cancer for the second time in my life.
I was diagnosed at five years old with a rare and aggressive form of sarcoma called rabdomiosarcoma. I battled this for a good two years and finally got the all clear at seven years old.
Fast forward fifteen years and I now got diagnosed with another stage 4 rare form of sarcoma called gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumour or GNET for short which is on the outside wall of my stomach but has also spread to my liver. I’m currently undergoing chemo at Addenbrookes Hospital in the hope to try and stabilise the tumour or shrink it.
I got put in touch with The Dream Factory by a nurse of mine who suggest I apply for it. I wanna say thank you to the whole Dream Team for what you have done. I really appreciate it and it means a lot. Especially in times like this.
