Mega Christmas Dream Draw Launched

Children’s charity, The Dream Factory, has launched their Mega Christmas Dream Draw to raise funds for children and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

The Dream Factory aims to brighten the lives of children and young adults aged between three and 25 years by granting wishes and dreams. From meeting celebrities or sporting heroes, to visiting Disneyland or owning a new mobile phone, the charity is dedicated to raising money to help turn children’s dreams into reality.

Founder Avril Mills BEM set up The Dream Factory in 2008 in memory of her son Oliver, who died from leukemia aged nine.  She said: “Nothing beats the smile on a child’s face when they receive a dream.  Your help is vital and will allow us to continue granting dreams, making everlasting memories this Christmas.”

Among the prizes on offer is £1,000 in cash, kindly donated by Potters Resort, a £750 SMART TV, donated by RGB Direct Electrical Superstore and a £450 Fortnum & Mason Hamper, donated by SEE Services.

Each ticket is £10 and all money raised will help The Dream Factory to grant more wishes to children across the region.

The draw is open to anyone aged 16 years or older, and the prize winners will be announced on Saturday, December 16.
