Connor’s Dream

We granted a fabulous football dream for an amazing young man called Connor Whymark from Ipswich.  Twenty-two year-old Connor was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and wanted a dream that included his favourite football team, Tottenham Hotspur.

We were able to make Connors dream come true with the help of Lord Raj Sharma, who sponsored the dream, and Glynn Hopkin and his company Glyn Hopkin Group, who donated seats in their box with full hospitality.

Connor, his uncle and his best pal Rick travelled down to London and checked into their hotel. They met  our volunteer dream-maker, Annabel, who gave Connor his itinerary which included stadium tickets, a Tottenham shirt and spending money.

Connor’s dream started with a VIP tour of Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium. The next morning Connor and his guests went to watch Tottenham vs Wolves at the stadium.  Glyn Hopkin welcomed Connor and his guests into his box which overlooks the centre of the pitch. They were treated to the full VIP experience that included food, drinks and half-time hospitality.

We cannot thank Lord Raj Sharma and Glyn Hopkin enough for helping to make Connor’s dream a very special day, giving him lots of great memories to treasure.

The Dream Factory received this message from Connor’s Mum, Jacqueline:

Connor had a fantastic day and was treated like royalty.  Thank you so much for his special day, you are truly amazing for granting wishes for these brave kids/young adults.

A day my son will never forget x

Thank you
