Gorgeous Keyan is six years old. He is in remission from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). He was diagnosed at 18 months old.
Keyan is the biggest fan of YouTuber Ryan from Ryan’s World. His dream was to get all the Ryan’s World toy collection exclusively available in the USA. He already has the UK collection!
He also wanted to meet or receive a video call from Ryan. However, due to the current global pandemic, we knew that it would be impossible to arrange a meet-and-greet or video call.
The Dream Factory got in touch with a friend in Florida; she went shopping all over Florida to buy the exact toys on Keyan’s dream list and had them shipped over to the UK.
The toys were sent to one of our trustee’s house where two volunteers wrapped them up. The plan was for Avril Mills (founder of The Dream Factory) to deliver the toys dressed as Mrs Santa Claus with two hard working elves and a gorgeous display of balloons.
However, due to last minute Covid restrictions and Tier 4 arriving on our doorstep, last minute changes had to be made, and we arranged for Keyan’s Dream to come true with the help of a special taxi delivery.
Keyan and his family were also due to go on a taxi tour to see the lights of London, though this has had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Keyan has captured all our hearts with his gorgeous smile and cheeky personality. Keyan, you are a true fighter and we are so privileged and honoured to have granted your dream – our 500th!
Keyan’s mum says: “You guys have been great! Thank for getting all the toys for Keyan, especially at this time during lockdown. You all work so well together as a team.
