The Dream Factory, a charity that grants dreams to children and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and severe disabilities, is one of them. Avril Mills BEM, the founder of the charity, says, ‘We are looking for very personable, friendly and outgoing people. Their role as a volunteer would be organising groups of like-minded people to help raise funds by putting on small events in their own homes, restaurants or small venues. Events could be anything from ladies’ lunches to bingo evenings’.
