Steve has spent his career at the heart of the charity and voluntary sector. As Director of Care and Youth Programmes at the Rank Foundation, one of the UK’s leading charitable foundations, he led national programmes supporting youth and care projects in communities right across the UK. He was previously Chief Executive of Open Door Project in Redbridge.

Steve has advised and supported charities of all sizes on their governance, helping boards strengthen their structures, face difficult decisions and secure their future. As a Trustee of the Shaftesbury Youth Project, he helped establish it as a grant-giving foundation. He has also worked extensively in bereavement care, and today is a funeral and wedding celebrant and a public speaking trainer.

Steve joins the board at an exciting time for The Dream Factory, and is looking forward to helping the charity grow and build a strong, sustainable future.
