Twenty year-old Thomas was diagnosed with cancer of the bone in his leg and is currently undergoing treatment. Due to his illness Thomas now has mobility restrictions and uses crutches and a wheelchair.
Thomas is Studying Food Science and Nutrition at University and has always been interested in how Heston Blumenthal uses his scientific knowledge to create unique dishes with interesting flavour combinations.
Thomas’s dream was to visit Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant The Fat Duck as he had heard the menu was not just a meal but a real sensory experience.
The Dream Factory arranged for Thomas and his family to have a meal at The Fat Duck where the staff went over and beyond to make the day truly special. Thomas was given a tour of the kitchen and wine cellars which helped make his visit truly memorable.

I thought you would like to see some wonderful photos of Tommy showing so much pleasure in the amazing dishes being served to him at the Fat Duck at the weekend. It was truly a memorable experience for us all that we will remember forever.
