Angel was diagnosed with High Grade Osteosarcoma . Angel’s dream was to see the Northern Lights. Please read her story below:
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you and the people of The Dream Factory of making my dream possible to go see the northern lights. It was an amazing time away and a much needed break and celebration after the rough horrible year I’ve had of strong chemotherapy treatment and multiple surgeries. I got very lucky with the northern lights, they were the strongest they had been in some time. We saw the lights dance and turn stronger in the late hours of the day, it made me feel so grateful and blessed to be where I am now, on the other side of cancer. It definitely brought happy tears to my eyes. This experience wouldn’t have been possible without the dream factory’s help, so thank you!
As a reminder, at the age of 24 I was diagnosed with high grade osteosarcoma cancer and had to endure 9 months of intense chemotherapy, and 2 surgeries. I am now post cancer and feel extremely grateful and trying to get use to this new normal.
Everything went so smoothly thanks to you Seema. The hotel was lovely and everything was just such fun, a dream come true and my bucket list of the northern lights ticked off!
