The best business brains from across the area have once again competed against each other in the ninth annual Haslers Foundation Charity Quiz held at West Essex Golf Club, Chingford. The event saw over 100 people turn out to raise money for the Haslers Foundation – the in-house charity of Loughton based Haslers Chartered Accountants. The foundation aims to relieve poverty and financial hardship; relieve sickness and preserve health; and help young people throughout London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Middlesex. Woodford Athletic Club were the champions of the night and the quiz raised £7,815.
Round sponsors were Abrahams Dresden Solicitors, Aquabridge Law, Barclays Bank, Hughtower Wealth Management, Utilize and Weston Homes. There were also raffle prize donations from 8Rocks, Charles & Mike, Ross Jewellers, Mangrove, Mike Seabrook, Oak-Tree Schools, Office Needs, Tom Dick & Harry and Weston Homes. The tope raffle prize a PS5 was won by Paula from the Frank Charles Give a Gift Appeal.
The Foundation would like to make a special thank you to those who attended from the following charities: CHESS Homeless, Frank Charles Give a Gift Appeal, Haven House Children’s Hospice, St Clare’s Hospice and The Dream Factory.
