Ashley from Hainault is 22 and has been diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, which has left her with profound and complex disabilities. Ashley is non-verbal, wheelchair dependent and has no purposeful use of her hands.
Ashley has also been diagnosed with epilepsy and has scoliosis, she has had corrective spinal rods
inserted.
Ashley has a PEG for her medication and water, as she has an unsafe swallow for fluids.
Ashley is totally dependent on others for all her needs.
Ashley’s dream was to go to Center Parcs and spend quality family time. Ashley is very close to her loving family and enjoys nothing more than spending time with them, she is described as a ‘Daddy’s girl’ and has 2 brothers that make her laugh and smile. The bond between Ashley and her mum Tracey is one of a kind, the love, laughter and bond between them is truly special.
The Dream Factory have booked a break for Ashley and her family in October and also provided spending money.
