All of them have donated something special, which is hoped will raise much needed funds for The Dream Factory. The Dream Factory is a registered Charity (No: 1123662) set up to grant wishes and dreams to children, young people and adults between the ages of 3 to 25 years, who suffer from life-threatening, life-limiting conditions or have severe disabilities. To date, they have granted over 496 dreams and their aim is to grant their 500th dream before the end of 2020
The ECookBook was started during the first lockdown period of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year, when people began experimenting with cooking new recipes and the team were delighted with the recipes that came forward which include a Jam Roly Poly from Harry Redknapp, Mediterranean Lamb from Judge Robert Rinder, an Oooooh Prawn Spaghetti A La Carte-Blanche from Vicki Michelle MBE and even a ‘The Guvnor’ Rib of Roast Beef by Ray Winstone. The Dream Factory was started by Avril Mills, BEM, who is Founder and Trustee of The Dream Factory, in memory of her son Oliver who sadly passed away at the age of 9 years from Leukaemia. Oliver’s favourite Spaghetti Bolognese recipe also features.
Avril Mills said: “We hope you enjoy our selection of dishes and suggestions, every donation helps whether it is big or small, and your money will help us make many more dreams come true! We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped to bring this fabulous ECookBook to life. This includes celebrities, our patrons and ambassadors, dream families, businesses, restaurants, trustees, staff and volunteers. Without you all, we could not grant the dreams that we do.”
