The Dream Factory in Ilford, Essex that grants dreams to children and young adults between the age of 3 to 25 years who are suffering from life-threatening, life-limiting conditions or have severe disabilities, has launched their 2021 Kids Helping Kids Campaign – Kindness Makes Dreams Come True.
The campaign aims to inspire children and young adults across the country to make a positive difference to other children who are not as fortunate as themselves. Helping those that have life threatening or severe disabilities.
Through the campaign, the charity are encouraging children and young adults to help them make dreams come true by hosting their own fundraising event, activity or challenge, in line with government guidance and social distancing rules.
Families can help put a smile on another child’s face by joining the 2021 Kids Helping Kids campaign and make a positive difference to other children who are experiencing difficulties in their life.
You can get involved by challenging your friends, family, school friends, football team or club and arrange your own fundraising event to raise money. It could be things like a fitness challenge, a sponsored silence, a sing a long or a virtual quiz while the country is still in lockdown and group fundraising events are unable to go ahead. Fundraisers can choose whether to support the charity in general or fundraise for a specific dream.
The Dream Factory team are on hand to help with ideas and support along the way. They can help set up a Just Giving Page or send a personalised sponsorship form. They will also help promote the fundraising campaign on social media, and all fundraisers will receive a personalised Thank You Certificate and an update on the dreams that the fundraising has helped to make come true.
Avril Mills, BEM, founder and trustee of The Dream Factory said: “This opportunity will help people understand that some children’s needs are greater than their own, and that their kindness will create unforgettable memories for other families to cherish forever.
“We are encouraging parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and carers to join us throughout 2021, raising much needed funds to help us be able to grant more dreams.”
